York based with hybrid working optionsWe are working with a large Accountancy Firm who require a Payroll Executive to join their large but friendly and supportive payroll bureau team. This team has a lovely manager who is fun and supportiveThey have amazing offices (bright, colourful and modern), lots of employee benefits and they really do see people as their number 1 asset.The role offers an individual the opportunity to build on their existing experience by managing a portfolio of clients and running weekly and monthly payrolls.In this role as Payroll Executive you will: * Look after a portfolio of payroll clients and will take full responsibility for the end to end processing of the payrolls * Undertake pension and auto enrolment administration * Maintain the payroll system and records by capturing, calculating and inputting data * Work in a great team where learning and development is encouragedIn order to be successful in this role as Payroll Administrator you will: * Have the understanding and ability to calculate payments including statutory and occupational sick pay, and maternity and parental leave. * Have some solid basic experience of end to end payroll * Understanding of PAYE procedures. * Excellent mathematical skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlinesIn return you will receive: * Salary : Up to £28k depending on experience * Flexible Working (3 days office /2 days home working) * 34 days annual leave (inc Bank Holidays) * Incentive Schemes * Private Medical Cover * Reimbursement of a professional subscription each year * Learning and Development Support * Well being support - includes EAP, 24/7 GP access, retail vouchers and discounts, discounted gym memberships etc. * Pension * Casual dress * Company pension * Cycle to work scheme * Free parking * Gym membership * Health & wellbeing programmeSchedule: * Flexitime * Monday to Friday
