As they transition from a prototype to a scaling SME, your contribution will be integral to their success in achieving the goal of having the aircraft in service by 2030.Role SummaryOur Client is seeking an Digital Manufacturing Engineer experienced in digital processes to play a crucial role in shaping large-scale production plans for the aircraft. This position offers the opportunity to innovate and optimize manufacturing workflows to ensure efficiency, quality, and integration across both aircraft and battery divisions.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and implement digital manufacturing systems for battery and aircraft production.Develop digital production line layouts to facilitate equipment procurement decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective adoption of digital systems.Lead process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement initiatives.Train users on digital systems for optimal manufacturing planning.Essential Skills & ExperienceProficiency in 3DX (Delmia) or similar digital manufacturing systems.3-5 years+ experience in a relevant field.Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Desirable Skills & ExperienceFamiliarity with ERP, MRP, and MES tools.Experience in high-volume final assembly and lean manufacturing.Knowledge of new product introduction (NPI) processes.If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity and contribute to the future of electric aviation, submit your CV today.
