The Company:
As the new In House Counsel, you will be joining Ethical Power; one of UK’s most innovative and ambitious sustainable energy companies and is at an exciting point in its evolution.
- Founded in 2010, it has built an excellent reputation in the renewable energy market within the areas of development, construction, ICP connections, operations & maintenance and asset management and is now poised to take advantage of increasing opportunities in renewable energy both in the UK and worldwide.
- The quality and value of Ethical Power’s projects and reputation is such that our clients, investors and financing partners, development partners and other project stakeholders comprise of many of the renewable sector’s leading blue chip participants.
The Role:
Due to sustained growth Ethical Power’s legal team is now looking to recruit an In House Construction Lawyer to assist with projects in the UK and internationally.
Working within a highly collaborative and supportive in-house legal team your focus will be:
- To support the business with negotiating and drafting EPC, ICP, BOP, supplier and O&M contracts.
- To broaden out your legal expertise supporting the group across the full project lifecycle with a wide range of legal matters over time.
About You:
To succeed in this In House Counsel role, you will:
- Have c2-5 years construction law experience, with confident and balanced negotiation skills
- Be well organised and above all a passion to fully integrate with the business.
- Be looking to make a change towards a fully engaged and immersive career in a fast growing, renewable energy business.
- In House Counsel and Lawyers from a private practice or in-house background will be considered.
