Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship - Little Scallywags Day NurseryAbout the employerHere at Little Scallywags - we are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice looking to complete their level 3 early years educator apprenticeship to join our small & friendly team at Little Scallywags.Little Scallywags Day Nurseries consists of seven settings around the Birmingham and Staffordshire area. The nurseries are a family run business and benefit from the skills and experience of a strong management team including nursing qualified teacher status and family support.About the RoleKey details:Hours:Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm 40 hours per weekWage:7.55 per hourLocation: Mile Oak B783NDApprenticeship Standard:Level 3 Early Years EducatorDuration:19 monthsOverview of the role:As a key part of the team you will be responsible for supporting the education and development of your key children through quality of teaching and learning.Responsibilities:Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nurseryPlan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate childrens developmentMonitor and observe children to ensure their well-being and safetyCollaborate with other nursery staff to create a positive learning environmentMaintain accurate records of childrens progress and developmentCommunicate effectively with parents regarding their childs daily activities and progressApprenticeship Summary:You will work towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification across a total duration of 19 monthsTraining provider:LMP Group: online/remote learning no classroom or college day releaseAn allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeshipCandidate RequirementsSkills & Personal Qualities Required:Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare settingAbility to engage and interact with children in a positive and supportive mannerStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenPatience empathy and a genuine love for working with childrenAbility to work effectively as part of a teamQualifications Required:GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) - EssentialGCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) - EssentialLevel 2 Early Years practitioner qualification or equivalent - PreferredNext steps & Pre-employment checks(Permitting youre eligible for the role) Please expect to receive contact from our LMP Education Recruitment team to discuss your application further.Additionally please be aware that upon a successful offer of employment DBS checks and references will be obtained as part of your enrolment.#LMP-EDUTARequired Experience:Junior IC Key Skills Early Childhood Education,Algebra,Classroom Experience,Lesson Planning,Special Education,Adult Education,Special Needs,Calculus,Teaching,Geometry,Experience with Children,Public Speaking Employment Type : Trainee Experience: years Vacancy: 1
