Are you an experienced Laser Operator looking for a new opportunity?If yes, then we have opportunities available for youOwen Payne are recruiting for Tube Laser Operator to join a fantastic manufacturing company within the Willenhall area.This is a PERMANENT night position.Requirements:Must have previous laser machine operating experience.Good communication skillsCounterbalance Forklift License would be an essentialDuties:Operate overhead gantry cranes via radio remote/pendant control to load material for Laser.Process lengths of steel precisely using the Laser, as per instructions.Store processed material safely in designated areas, to ensure product is accessible in line with company working practices.Drive mobile plant such as forklift trucks, side-tracker, etc. and road-based vehicles for loading and transportation purposes, as required.Goods Inwards – Unload material and prepare warehouse for future loads.Complete daily pre-shift check sheets.Report any Laser/plant defects promptly and accurately to the Tube Laser Supervisor.Undertake stock checks as required.Maintain a consistent approach by carrying out regular housekeeping of your designated working area throughout each shift.Working hours:Sunday - Thursday22:00-06:00amFor more information on this role, please apply online today or call Sophie on (phone number removed) (Option 1)
