Recent years have seen strong growth in both profit and company size, through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Exceptional customer service is at the heart of everything they do and a strong determination to find innovative and proactive solutions.
The company is now looking for an exceptional Financial Controller to become a key member of the senior management team and join them as they enter the next stage of their growth and development. Reporting directly to the Group FD, responsibilities will include;
- Ensure the day to day smooth running of the accounting function
- Responsible for the oversight and delivery of annual budgets and forecasting
- Manage cash flow and liaison with external partners on financial matters
- Leading by example and motivating and developing a highly experienced team to secure the best interests of the company and its customers at all times
- Liaison with internal managers and Directors to prepare reports to enhance performance
- Ad hoc projects in partnership with the Group FD
Potential candidates will be qualified accountants (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) wth experience in industry. You will have a motivational style and have a successful track record of leading by example, with a close eye on the detail.
You will have experience of leading and motivating teams and be able to present to senior management and build relationships at all levels. Strong IT skills and a willingness to travel to other group sites when needed is essential for this genuinely rare opportunity to make a real difference and benefit from the backing of an already successful group.
