Quality Engineer

MK Recruit is currently seeking a degree qualified Quality Engineer on behalf of our client, who are a leading manufacturer based in Coatbridge.


This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Verification of product compliance against specification requirements.
  • Review and audit of production processes to ensure they operate effectively and proactively promote process improvements.  
  • Investigation & Management of the Non-Conformance Processes.
  • Successful completion of allocated Quality Engineering Improvement Projects
  • Carry out internal and external Product Audits and QMS Audits in accordance with AS9100 requirements.


Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Preferably 5 years experience in a Quality Engineering role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and controls for high-reliability products.
  • Certified Quality Management System auditor, with a preference for AS9100 or ISO 9001 certifications.
