Oaklands College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Apprenticeship Trainer & Skills Coach Carpentry to support the professional development of apprentices across our carpentry programmes. This is a rewarding role where youll deliver high-quality training coaching and assessment ensuring apprentices gain the skills knowledge and behaviours needed to succeed in their careers.Youll play a key part in guiding learners through their apprenticeship journey working closely with employers and helping apprentices achieve their full potential.Your Day-to-Day ImpactDeliver engaging industry-specific carpentry training through a mix of classroom workplace and online sessions.Coach and mentor apprentices tailoring learning to their individual needs.Conduct regular progress reviews ensuring learners stay on track to complete their apprenticeships.Provide constructive feedback and prepare learners for End Point Assessments.Build strong employer relationships supporting effective workplace training and development.Embed core themes such as equality diversity and sustainability into all learning.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver and assess apprentices knowledge skills and behaviours against apprenticeship standards.Maintain accurate assessment records and ensure compliance with ESFA funding rules.Provide pastoral and academic support helping apprentices overcome barriers to learning.Ensure the quality of the apprenticeship programme meets Ofsted awarding organisation and funding body requirements.Work collaboratively with the colleges apprenticeship and business development teams to promote and deliver high-quality training.Is This YouWere looking for someone with a passion for carpentry and for supporting others to succeed.
