Senior Product Owner - Data & Technology Solutions

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Product Vision: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate these into effective user stories, and refine the product backlog to reflect user needs and business objectives.
- Backlog Management: Develop and prioritise a well-organised backlog to support continuous development, balancing tasks to ensure all teams have a steady flow of requirements.
- Lead Refinement Sessions: Facilitate effective backlog refinement sessions with development teams, preparing input ahead of time to enable productive collaboration and clarity on objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex technical requirements in clear, accessible language to non-technical stakeholders, and build consensus on features, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
- Risk & Conflict Management: Identify potential risks early, devise suitable mitigations, and collaborate to manage conflicts and prioritisation challenges to ensure timely delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by assessing and enhancing product processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and product quality.
What You’ll Bring:
- Agile Expertise: Deep experience in Agile product development, including at least three years in a Senior Product Owner role on large-scale data and analytics projects.
- Technical Acumen: Proven experience in developing and implementing data products, ideally using the Azure tech stack, with a strong background in data & analytics systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Skilled at engaging, listening to, and negotiating with stakeholders, balancing competing demands to keep development on track and delivering value.
- Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Organisation & Prioritisation: Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills, ensuring requirements flow seamlessly to development teams.
