Job Description:

ROLE SUMMARY

This Planning Manager role is on our newest iProspect client, BMW Group (BMW & Mini) and will focus on the BMW brand alongside a fellow planning manager who will focus on the Mini brand.

A Planning Manager at iProspect is a critical role in helping us deliver a seamless experience for our clients; taking responsibility for key client deliverables, leading key elements of day to day activity and campaign planning.

The BMW Planning Manager will support the BMW Client Director in using iProspect’s Intersections Planning process to develop end to end campaign planning and liaising with our activation teams to ensure first class planning and seamless activation
The Planning Manager is involved in execution of campaigns right from the initial media planning phase all the way through to the campaign wrap up reports
The Planning Manager is ultimately accountable for ensuring the day to day client deliverables & requests of our clients are met, delivering best in class service for our clients
The Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring we deliver on the critical ‘brilliant basics’ of accuracy, timeliness and consistency for our clients in all of the outputs we deliver for them
The Planning Manager is responsible for working with the Client Director, the client and alongside the activation teams to ensure our financial management for BMW is sound, with a PO for all bookings and activity correctly billed on time

/ THE PERSON

Regardless of background, a Planning Manager at iProspect needs some specific traits to succeed.

The Planning Manager needs to have a good understanding of media and advertising

They must be curious and passionate about the clients’ businesses they work on, showing knowledge for the categories they operate in and challenges they face.

They should be great at building relationships with junior clients fostering trust and partnership

A strong & personable collaborator, they should embrace working with others in iProspect and the wider dentsu network, building their network to enable us to deliver brilliant client solutions together.

They must possess a willingness & bravery to try something new, experimenting & innovating to drive greater future success for our clients and ourselves

They should be detail orientated with a focus on accuracy and timeliness to ensure we meet the expectations of our clients.

The Planning Manager should be hungry for continuous improvement and driven to pursue excellence, always looking to take any and every opportunity to learn and develop their comms planning, client and media skills and how they can then apply this to their work.
