We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Drainage Design Engineer (specialising in water, flooding, and drainage) to join our dynamic team in Lancashire. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of technical design solutions that meet established standards, timelines, and budgetary guidelines across a range of design projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Drainage Engineer, you will:

·        Focus on highway drainage, while also bringing in expertise in water utilities and Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) standards to contribute to meaningful projects.

·        Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and design calculations, ensuring successful project delivery alongside the Senior Engineer.

·        Deliver projects in line with Our quality control systems and the client's requirements.

·        Maintain clear and open communication to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality service across all aspects, including health and safety, technical accuracy, commercial viability, and quality standards.

·        Take responsibility for assigned tasks and, when appropriate, smaller projects.

What We’re Looking For

This position is ideal for someone who has:

·        A degree in Civil Engineering (essential) and minimum of 3 years’ experience as a drainage engineer within the UK

·        Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD

·        Proficient in info drainage or micro drainage

·        Membership with a relevant engineering body.

·        A CSCS card.

·        A proactive and conscientious approach, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.

·        A valid full driving licence.
