Transport Panner

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Transport Panner to join a Brewery company based near Farnborough. This is a temp to perm role.Key responsibilities for this Transport Panner role:- Planning the activities of the Transport Team- Ensuring planned routes are in line with working time directive and drivers' hours- Producing transport plans- Supporting the Transport Planning Supervisor with tasks to ensure day to day tasks rum smoothly- Monitoring the Transport Management software and internal spreadsheets- Liaising with other depots and customers- Ensuring the department complies with health and safety legislation- Producing cost efficient operational transport plans dailyRequirements for this Transport Panner role:- IT Literate with experience using MS Office essential and SAP is beneficial- Previous experience working within transport or a route planning role- Experience using DiPS or alternative planning system preferred however not required- Must be available immediately- Ability to work alone and as part of a team- Must have great attention to detail- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsThe Role:- This role working Monday - Friday- Working 7am until 4pm however some flexibility would be needed from time to time to suit business needs- £14.50 per hour- Paid weeklyIf you would like to speak to us about this Transport Panner role, please contact Amy Clark in our Basingstoke branch or you can alternatively apply online.
