Orka Financial is currently partnering with a large, global successful business based in Bracknell that is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join the team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will be responsible in ensuring the integrity of the financial close process, and delivery of all internal and external reporting deadlines, including ensuring compliance with controls and US GAAP accounting rules. This role will be an integral part of the EMEA team.
Duties will include,
Acting as a key contact for the business with regards to internal and external Reporting to address queries and provide accurate information on a timely basis
Communicating insights by reviewing and analysing results to ensure accurate monthly reporting
Implementing US GAAP accounting policies and ensuring they are consistently applied across the EMEA region
Preparing statutory financial statements for EMEA entities under UK GAAP FRS102
Supporting the external audit by ensuring agreed upon timelines are met
Maintaining financial controls and assisting in SOX compliance
This role would suit a Qualified accountant with 3+ years of audit experience ideally at a public accounting firm with a client list of multi-national companies. The Financial Accountant would also have experience with FRS 102 and an international GAAP. The role is based in Bracknell and offer hybrid working
