Contract ManagerLocation: YorkSalary: CompetitiveContract Type: PermanentWorking Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-FridayWe are seeking a dedicated Area Manager to oversee operations for two esteemed clients across the Reading area. As an Area Manager your primary focus will be on enhancing customer experience exceeding client expectations efficiently managing the region and ensuring the smooth execution of Grounds Maintenance contracts.What you will achieve:Conducting site audits to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings.Leading KPI meetings to track performance and identify areas for improvement.Providing quotes for additional Grounds Maintenance and Tree works and ensuring timely delivery.Conducting quality surveys to maintain service excellence.Holding monthly meetings to review progress and discuss strategies for enhancement.Building and fostering a positive team culture among staff members.What were looking for:Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping management ideally at Contract Operations or Area Manager level.Strong client relationship management including experience attending client meetings handling feedback and delivering against SLAs and KPIs.Operational leadership experience managing multiple sites contracts and field teams across a defined region.Budget and cost control experience including preparing and managing quotes for additional works.Quality and compliance auditing ensuring adherence to company and industry standards (H&S environmental and operational).Experience conducting performance reviews and driving continuous improvement across contracts.Good working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations RAMS and environmental compliance.Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple projects and clients.Full driving license and willingness to travel to different sites as requiredWhy join Ground ControlConsistent work: While the role is zero-hours full-time work is regularly availableCareer progression: Opportunities for development formal training and upskillingSupportive team: Work alongside experienced colleagues and supportive leadershipWell-maintained equipment: Youll have access to the latest well-maintained electric tools quieter lighter and easier to use.Additional benefits:Access to private GP services flu jabs and employee wellbeing supportSubsidised national gym membershipsCompany recognition schemesAbout Ground ControlWere a UK-based external maintenance company delivering award-winning services to over 50000 sites nationwide.
