About the role

Reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics, you'll play a key role in uncovering valuable insights through exploratory analysis, shaping data-driven decisions across the business. You'll also drive the development of our internal analytics suite, helping to enhance our data capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Lead exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights to the business.
  2. Own and manage our BI platform, ensuring it delivers accurate, impactful, and well-structured reporting, and is administered effectively.
  3. Develop and maintain data models within the BI platform to support robust analytics and reporting needs.
  4. Design, build, and optimise reports and dashboards within the BI platform, ensuring they are insightful, user-friendly, and meet stakeholder requirements.

  6. Provide training and support to business users, empowering teams to self-serve and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Manage user access and permissions within the BI platform, ensuring data security and governance best practices.
  8. Monitor report usage and performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.

About You

You're a curious and driven data professional who thrives in an autonomous environment. You're passionate about uncovering insights and translating data into meaningful action. With a proactive mindset, you're always looking for ways to improve performance and solve problems.

You're comfortable rolling up your sleeves – whether it's deep-diving into analysis, optimising BI reports, or helping colleagues make sense of data. You excel at managing your own time and priorities, ensuring that key deliverables are met without losing sight of the bigger picture.

You're also a confident communicator who enjoys partnering with stakeholders across the business. You know how to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives, helping teams make informed decisions. Building relationships and understanding business needs come naturally to you, allowing you to shape analytics that drive real impact.

The experience you'll bring:

At least 3 years' experience in a similar data analysis role, working with stakeholders to deliver insights and reporting. Strong experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau to build reports and dashboards. Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data; experience with Python is desirable, but not essential.

Who you are is as important to us as what you can do. Do these values and behaviors sound like something that would come naturally for you?
