Positioned in the HR team, you will provide a friendly and approachable daily HR presence and assistance across HR and Training related administrative processes, ensuring excellent attention to detail and ownership of delivery.


Role: HR Administrator

Location: St Albans

Salary: £30,000


Main purpose of the role:

To assist with the administration of day-to-day HR operations of the HR function, providing clerical and administrative support to the HR Director, Head of HR and other members of the team. Accurately maintaining electronic employee records for personnel files and HRIS (PeopleHR), whilst assisting in completing employee reports for Management and Partners and keeping the process of training administration up to date.


Key responsibilities include:

Onboarding/Off Boarding of staff – drafting contracts, processing starters and leavers, referencing and assisting with exit interviews

General HR Administration - producing standard letters / changes to contracts, completing statistical information for monthly reports and assisting with ad-hoc HR projects

Reporting – maintaining electronic office records and spreadsheets relating to charge out rates

Recruitment – coordinating graduate assessment days and responding to applications and candidates

Training – booking, confirming and logging training courses and registering trainees for exams


The ideal candidate will be:

A very competent administrator with strong administrative skills and an understanding of administrative processes. You will possess the ability to confidently and effectively deal with staff and members. Your written and oral communication skills are strong, and you possess an excellent working knowledge of MS Suite Software, Outlook and PeopleHR ideally.

Personality is key to the role as the company and HR team are approachable and open and welcome a hands-on, flexible and proactive attitude to the role.
