Trainee Fitter

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Trainee Fitter to join our team at this exciting period of growth The Company: Baize Craft supplies snooker tables, pool tables and leisure products including football tables and air hockey tables to private clients, clubs and organisations throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland. Baize Craft was founded over 35 years ago and since then we have moved from strength to strength. Initially starting out servicing and recovering Pool & Snooker tables throughout Northern Ireland. This soon expanded to servicing and recovering Pool & Snooker tables all across Ireland and eventually to the supply of pool & snooker tables too. The Role: Join our team as a Table Fitter, delivering and installing home games room products like slate bed pool tables and table tennis tables. This physically demanding yet rewarding role includes occasional warehouse support and requires handling heavy goods with provided specialist equipment. You'll receive on-the-job training and aim to lead installations within 2-3 years, achieving financially rewarded milestones. A full driving licence is essential. Daily Tasks: Deliver and install products in customers' homes nationwide Perform service work (recovering tables) Organize stock Pay attention to detail and stay organized Learn about products and solve problems Provide excellent customer service Maintain punctuality Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:30 Friday: 08:00-15:00 Occasional overtime Salary/Hourly Pay: £13.10 per hour, with raises based on skill development and target achievement Skills: Fitting joinery Installation Maintenance repairing blue print reading driving license
