Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an Information Governance Lawyer experienced in dealing with Data Protection and Freedom of Information matters to join a great local authority.

The role can offer an initial contract of 3 months with likely extension and will be based with a Local Authority in the South West region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Advising on FOI exemptions
  • Drafting privacy notices
  • Dealing with Data protection impact assessments
  • Liaising with ICO where necessary
  • Monitoring the Information Governance inbox
  • Dealing with Subject Access requests
  • Advise information management board on governance statistics

This role offers full-time hours and remote working, although some part-time hours may also be considered.
