Were Hiring: 2 Caravan Wardens at Uttoxeter RacecourseWere on the lookout for two reliable friendly Caravan Wardens to run our caravan site during race weekends at Uttoxeter Racecourse. This is a casual role covering 11 openings throughout the year based around our weekend fixtures.2026 Season Dates (each opening 35 hours over 5 days with possibilities of overtime if required):13th 16th March27th 30th March1st 4th May15th 18th May22nd 25th May12th 15th June26th 29th June22nd 25th July25th 28th July2nd 5th October13th 16th NovemberAbout the Role of Caravan Warden:Youll be responsible for welcoming guests allocating pitches keeping the site running smoothly a friendly face for any visitor queries and ensuring the site is safe and presentable at all times for our customersAs part of the job youll stay on-site during each of the above dates well provide a pitch power and additional facilities for the duration.What youll be doing:Welcoming guests on arrival liaising with our onsite security team to ensure a smooth and pleasant welcome and friendly first impressionManaging pitch allocation directing guests to their designated spaces efficientlyChecking in arrivals ensuring bookings are correct and answering any initial questionsMaintaining a tidy well-presented site including light cleaning litter checks and general upkeepMonitoring site safety keeping an eye out for any issues and reporting them promptlyDaily toilet and laundry room cleaning ensuring facilities are kept to a good standard for our guestsBeing a friendly point of contact assisting visitors with queries or concerns throughout their stayProviding basic information such as site rules racecourse schedules and local amenitiesSupporting guests with minor issues such as power hook-up guidance or site navigationEnsuring facilities are presentable flagging any maintenance needs to the teamCompleting simple administrative tasks such as noting arrivals departures or incidentsWorking closely with your co-steward sharing duties and communicating effectivelyUpholding site standards ensuring a calm safe and welcoming environment at all timesAssisting with arrivals and departures at peak times helping maintain smooth traffic flowFollowing racecourse procedures including emergency and safety protocolsTwo people who can work well together and get along (youll be sharing duties throughout each weekend)Friendly approachable and confident dealing with the publicComfortable working outdoorsOrganised and dependableCaravan warden experience is preferred but not essentialAble to commit to the dates aboveWhat Were Looking For:Two people who can work well together and get along (youll be sharing duties throughout each weekend)Friendly approachable and confident dealing with the publicComfortable working outdoorsOrganised and dependableCaravan warden experience is preferred but not essentialAble to commit to the dates aboveRequirements of being a Caravan Warden(well arrange and pay for these if you dont have them):DBS CheckFirst Aid QualificationIf youre looking for flexible enjoyable seasonal work and love the idea of spending race weekends at Uttoxeter Racecourse wed be really happy to hear from youClosing Date0 Employment Type : Gig Experience: years Vacancy: 1
