Electronic Engineer Contract - Outside IR35Hybrid  / Cambridge (3 days a week onsite) £60-£85 per hour depending on experience 6 monthsCambridge (37 hours which can be condensed over 4 days)Our client is seeking talented Electronic Engineer / Design Engineer with high-speed / digital design experience to join an exciting communications device project. We are seeking Electronic Engineers with electronics design experience from initial concept, specification, and design through to software and systems integration, test, and manufacture. Contract duties include:Requirements analysis and understanding including liaison with stakeholdersTechnical design and specification of digital circuitry for radio and accessory productsComplete subsystem design and implementation, including subsystem ownership.Integration with RF, Audio and MMI subsystems.Component specification and sourcingDesign, integration and test documentationDefinition, implementation and supervision of PCB layout rules and constraintsResolution of design and integration issuesInteraction with the SW team at device driver level (especially during bring-up phases)Production technical support including sub system test strategy. Desirable Skills:Electronics Design experienceHigh Speed Digital DesignHigh speed digital design interfaces e.g. USB3, MIPI, PCI express, Gigabit ethernet, DDRX memoryPCB layout and design constraints definitionExperience with simulation tools (e.g. Hyperlynx, Sigrity, ADS,)Design for EMC/ESD protectionDesign for Manufacturing and TestExperience of electronics design for automotive, defence, aerospace, medical, mobile phone or similar regulated sector If this sounds like the contract for you, please apply today Key words: Electronic Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Design Engineer, Hardware Engineer
