Business Continuity & Security Resilience SpecialistLocation: Farnborough with flexibility to work from home dependent on business demandsLooking for an opportunity to make an impact The Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Continuity & Security Resilience Specialist to lead and mature our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in alignment withISO 22301standards.You will play a critical role in ensuring operational resilience internally and across our vast portfolio of programmes safeguarding mission-critical services and infrastructure.What will you be doingLead the development implementation maintenance and continuous improvementof the BCMS in accordance with ISO 22301Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs)and risk assessments across all functions programmes and bids ensuring alignment with contractualrequirements.Design and maintain continuity and recovery strategies including crisis management business continuity disaster recovery and emergency response procedures.Coordinate and facilitate exercises and simulations including tabletop and live scenario testing to validate continuity plans.Monitor compliance and readiness ensuring all plans meet internal audit standards and external regulatory requirements.Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners including customers regulatory bodies and special interest groups to ensure continuity expectations are met.Report on BCMS performance including metrics gaps and improvement actions to senior leadership and governance boards.Stay current with evolving threats technologies and regulatory changes affecting business continuity throughout our business areaWhat do we need from youProven experience inbusiness continuity planningwithin adefence government or critical infrastructure environment.In-depth knowledge and practical application ofISO 22301and related standards (e.g. ISO 27001).Strong understanding ofIT systems cybersecurity and disaster recoveryprinciples.Experience conductingBIAs risk assessments and continuity exercises.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills including experience presenting to senior leadership.Desirable Qualifications and Experience:Relevant certification such asCertified Business Continuity Professional orISO 22301 Lead Implementer/AuditorMember of the Business Continuity InstituteExperience ofgovernance risk and compliance platformsand continuity planning tools.Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2 PMP).Security Clearance:BPSS pre-screening to startDue to the nature of the role candidates must be eligible forDeveloped VettingSecurity ClearanceLeidos UK Join our team and discover a culture of collaboration innovation diversity trust caring management communication transparency work-life balance and overall job satisfaction.What we do for you:At Leidos we are PASSIONATE about customer success UNITED as a team and INSPIRED to make a difference.
