We have a great opportunity for a Support Worker in our client's home and community in the Frome area. Bank position also available. Our Client: The client is a 76-year-old man who was involved in a road traffic accident in July 2013 in which he sustained severe injuries which included a head injury and fractures to the right side of his body. He is fully mobile and does not depend on any walking aids. He was also diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia in January 2025 The client struggles with poor memory (short and long term), poor ability to plan or organise, slowness of thinking, headaches, fatigue, mobility issues, speech and language issues. He requires support to establish and maintain routines and requires regular prompts. He occasionally requires support to manage his emotions and manage his behaviour. The client has the benefit of regular input from support workers who help him follow a structured weekly routine. Physiotherapy and speech and language therapy reviews are also arranged when required. The client is supported to enjoy regular holiday breaks with his wife.
