Caretaker / Janitor

Search recruitment are looking for an experienced Caretaker/Janitor for a permanent post with our client in Dundee.Location: DundeeSalary: £26k per year Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm You will have a variety of duties, ranging from security, janitorial and reporting duties. These include: Weekly fire Alarm test - different call point each week.Manage consumables orders and storage and supply.Monthly room inspections for cookers/fridges/heaters to ensure they are still in working orderMoving furniture within the vicinity upon request or instructionLiaise with the laundry companyMaintain record of scheduled visitors and contractors ensuring sign in book updated, navigate unexpected visitors to ensure they are authorised person(s) and manage any banned visitors appropriatelyYou will be the Police and Fire on site contactReport any antisocial or illegal activity to appropriate personPre and post tenancy deep clean - maintain record of theseReport repairs and fire alarm activation's by email - emergency repairs within 1hrMaintain database of emergency contact where applicableMaintain record of vacant rooms and clean/to clean roomsManage and report tenant disputesAny additional training such as first aid or security experience is beneficial but is not a set requirement for the role.
