This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable solicitor looking to work on high-quality cases in a supportive, flexible environment.The client:Leading Manchester-based law firm has built a strong reputation for helping individuals secure fair compensation for housing disrepair and personal injury claims. With a client-focused approach and a commitment to justice, the firm works closely with tenants to ensure landlords uphold their legal responsibilities. Its team of dedicated solicitors strives to make the legal process accessible, transparent, and effective for everyone.About the Role:You will manage a caseload of housing disrepair matters from inception to resolution, advising tenants on their legal rights and pursuing claims against local authorities and housing associations. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in securing justice and improving living conditions for vulnerable tenants.Key Responsibilities:Manage a varied caseload of pre-litigated and litigated housing disrepair claimsSupervising junior fee earnersProvide clear, practical legal advice to clientsConduct negotiations and advocacy where appropriatePrepare legal documents, statements, and evidence bundlesMaintain accurate case records and adhere to compliance requirementsWhat We're Looking For:A qualified solicitor NQ+ in housing disrepair or related litigationStrong knowledge of landlord and tenant law, particularly housing disrepair legislationConfident handling a full caseload independentlyExcellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skillsProactive, organised, and passionate about access to justiceWhat We Offer:Hybrid working after onboarding/probationSupportive and collaborative team environmentCompetitive salary25 days holiday plus bank holidays & day off on your birthdayPension scheme with 6% employer contributionCompany sick pay
