About the Role


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dependable Security Manager to join our Security team in our OneIT department to oversee security operations across the organisation and to work closely with the Security Analyst, other OneIT colleagues and trusted partners to identify and deliver security related investment projects, strengthen security controls, identify and mitigate security threats/risks and manage security incidents.

You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders across Europe to understand immediate business Security needs and priorities and that their feedback is evaluated and considered for any future improvements.


Main Tasks


  1. Work with Security Architects and other key stakeholders to develop, maintain and deliver a roadmap of security related investments to drive improvements to security controls.
  2. Develop, implement and enforce robust security policies and standards, ensuring that these align with current industry best practice and compliance requirements.
  3. Lead the integration of new security solutions into business systems across the organisation.
  4. Oversee day-to-day operational security activities including, incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
  5. Planning resource levels to ensure the company’s security needs are covered at all times.
  6. To ensure knowledge and understanding within the industry is up to date around the latest security and technology advancements and to advise the company on significant changes where action is required.
  7. Work with direct reports, other OneIT resources and trusted partners to monitor for and respond to security incidents. Liaise with global IT colleagues where required.
  8. To test and evaluate security products and systems and to lead on the design of new security systems or the upgrade of existing ones.
  9. To provide accurate advice and guidance to OneIT colleagues and other employees around security best practice.
  10. To work closely with the IT Business Partners team to create, maintain and deliver Cyber Security Awareness training for all colleagues across Europe
  11. Maintain the information security risk register and lead all input required for both internal and external audits relating to information security.
  12. Investigation of all security breaches and taking action where required.


Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in cyber/information security, computer science or other IT related subject
  • Proven track record in Information Security, ideally with 6+ years’ experience
  • Ideally will have suitable information Security qualifications such as CISSP
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and enforcing security policies and standards
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture key relationships across the organisation.
