As a Private Client Tax Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of private clients providing expert tax advice and compliance services. You will be responsible for leading a team ensuring the delivery of highquality tax services and fostering strong client relationships. Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management:

    • Manage a portfolio of private clients including highnetworth individuals business owners and trusts.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships acting as the primary point of contact for all taxrelated matters.
    • Provide tailored tax planning advice to clients considering their individual circumstances and financial goals.

  2. Tax Compliance and Advisory:

    • Oversee the preparation and submission of selfassessment tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
    • Advise clients on a wide range of tax issues including inheritance tax capital gains tax and income tax planning.
    • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients proactively.

  3. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals providing guidance training and support to ensure the delivery of highquality services.
    • Review work completed by junior team members providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  4. Business Development:

    • Identify opportunities to expand services to existing clients and attract new business.
    • Participate in networking events and contribute to marketing initiatives to enhance the firms profile in the marketplace.

  5. Strategic Contribution:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the firms tax strategy.
    • Collaborate with other departments to provide a holistic service to clients and identify crossselling opportunities.


Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in private client tax preferably within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing a diverse client portfolio and delivering highquality tax advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
