We are seeking a professional and dedicated Support Worker to join our organisation in Wigan United Kingdom. As a Support Worker you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of providing high-quality care and support to individuals enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Shift patterns will consist of mornings 07:00-14:15 and evenings 16:00-22:00.Provide essential personal care assistance including bathing dressing and groomingManage medication administration and assist with meal preparation adhering to dietary requirementsMaintain a hygienic and safe living environment offering professional companionship and emotional supportAssist with mobility and transfers utilising appropriate equipment and following safety protocolsMonitor and report changes in service users health or wellbeing to the care coordinatorMaintain accurate records of care provided and collaborate with healthcare professionals and family membersStrictly adhere to health and safety regulations and organisational policiesParticipate in mandatory training and professional development opportunitiesWork alternate weekends and operate across Wigan and surrounding areas as required.
