Our central marketing function supports all brands with digital content, campaigns, website updates, events, manufacturer activity and brand compliance.We are now looking for a Senior Marketing Coordinator to play a pivotal role in coordinating group-wide marketing activity and supporting our partnered marketing agency.The RoleThis is a perfect opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who is confident, organised and capable of taking ownership of day-to-day marketing delivery—without holding full managerial responsibility.You will work closely with our external agency, Directors, and the internal marketing team to ensure campaigns, content and brand activity are executed smoothly and to high standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign & Project CoordinationCoordinate the rollout of marketing campaigns across nine automotive brands.Manage timelines, content requirements, plans and deadlines to ensure efficient delivery.Assist with campaign planning, monthly offer uploads, content briefs and event coordination.Digital & Website ManagementUpdate website content, visuals, stock imagery, offer pages and brand-specific content.Support the social media lead in scheduling, email marketing and digital advertising activity.Collaborate with our agency to ensure brand consistency and a strong customer journey.Brand & Manufacturer LiaisonImplement manufacturer-led campaigns and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.Maintain monthly and quarterly manufacturer and internal marketing planners and ensure timely delivery of required materials.Team Support & CoordinationProvide direction to marketing team members on daily tasks and priorities.Review output for accuracy and brand alignment before final approval.Act as the day-to-day link between the dealership network, senior management and the external agency.Reporting & InsightMonitor performance of campaigns and digital activity.Provide the Directors and Management Team with concise summaries and recommendations.Skills & Experience (Mid-Point Expectation)We are looking for a candidate with:Solid experience in a marketing or digital coordination role (multi-channel preferred).Strong organisational and project management skills with great attention to detail.Good working knowledge of CMS platforms, digital content tools and social media scheduling.Confident communication skills to collaborate with Directors, managers, suppliers and colleagues.Ability to analyse basic marketing performance data to support decision-making.A proactive, adaptable approach suitable for a fast-paced multi-brand environment.Salary NoteThe expected salary range for this role is at the lower end of our detailing depending on experience.However — if a candidate demonstrates upper-tier skills such as:automotive industry experienceexperience across multiple retail brands or multi-site organisationsstrong digital campaign management or analytics capabilityproven ability to oversee cross-functional projects independentlyadvanced content, design or digital optimisation skills…then the salary is fully negotiable, and we welcome applications from candidates at that higher level.BenefitsCycle to Work SchemeAuto-Enrolment PensionDeath in Service BenefitOptional Health Care SchemeStaff DiscountsPPE provided where applicableTraining and development opportunitiesFinancial advice and wellbeing supportRole DetailsHours: Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5.00pmHoliday: 22 days + bank holidaysRequirement: Right to work in the UK + full UK driving licenceHow to ApplyIf you are an organised, motivated marketing professional who enjoys working across multiple brands and coordinating impactful marketing activity, we would love to hear from you.Please send your CV and cover letter to recruitment@johnbanks.co.uk explaining your suitability for the Senior Marketing Coordinator role.
