We’re seeking an ambitious Medical Writer with 1+ years of experience in medical communications or a related field. We’re looking for someone who will bring passion and expertise to craft compelling, high-quality content that meets client briefs, resonates with target audiences, and is delivered on time and within budget.

You will work with a talented team and be supported by people who have enormous experience and expertise to share.


Key responsibilities

·      Develop high-quality medical writing – Create engaging content for various formats and audiences

·      Craft impactful presentations – Craft presentations that make complex information accessible and tailored for the audience and bring the content to life

·      Ensure accuracy in data and scientific writing – Strong attention to detail and accurate reference annotations

·      Manage project approvals – Oversee the approval process using the Veeva platform

·      Address feedback thoughtfully – Respond intelligently to internal and external feedback, questioning unclear comments as needed

·      Grow scientific knowledge – Deepen expertise in therapeutic areas, client products, and relevant industry practices

·      Foster a collaborative culture – Promote excellence, open communication, and teamwork to enhance processes by working collaboratively with both Scientific and Client Service teams

·      Build client relationships – Begin establishing connections with clients and external experts

·      Provide on-site support as required – Attending meetings in the UK or elsewhere

·      Understand project budgeting – Gain knowledge in scoping, budgeting, and notifying changes to timelines or specifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:


Technical:

  • Educated to at least bachelor’s degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 1+ years’ experience of working in medical communications or an equivalent environment
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality copy that is scientifically accurate with good attention
  • to detail
  • Ability to research medical literature effectively
  • Proficient in standard software packages (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team to achieve a shared goal
  • Good organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and balance several priorities, pressures, and demands

  • Recognise the need for change and be positive about new opportunities, proactively promoting change and being respectful of new ideas
  • Seek and interpret feedback to improve and develop own performance
