Are you a HGV Class 1 Day Driver looking for ongoing work? Want to work with one of the UK's leading supply chain logistics providers? As this is within the automotive sector, long term opportunities are available. Day shifts are available Monday - Friday and weekends.This role will involve:Local delivery and collection of Automotive partsLocal sequence deliveries from manufacturing facility into plantSome distance deliveries to and from other suppliers / manufacturersTypical start times between 05:00 - 07:00 on days8-10 hour shifts (Minimum 9 paid / Inc 1 hour Overtime)No HandballWeekend work available at inflated pay ratesSites based in Solihull & North BirminghamSuccessful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:Have at least 6 months C+E experienceHave no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph cardHGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay:Monday to Friday days £14.24 per hour (Hours 06:00-18:00)Overtime after 8 hours per shift between £21.36 - £24.92 per hourGuaranteed 9 hours per shift (1 hours overtime daily)Mandatory assessments are involved which will include:Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)Full site and safe systems of work inductionVehicle familiarisationPractical driving assessmentWorking for Pertemps, you will benefit from:Weekly or Monthly pay via BACS (PAYE)Free UniformAccess to driver training including CPCDedicated local consultants24/7 contactPLEASE CLICK APPLY
