Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Buyer to join our Procurement Team based at our site in Kingswinford, West Midlands.You would be responsible for the source to contract direct material procurement for the UK; this includes metal parts, pressed, machined, alu extrusions, injection mouldings and electronics. You would be part of a global group purchasing team with global suppliers so there will be some international travel.You will need to be experienced in drafting and negotiating supplier agreements and will also be able to read and challenge technical drawings.Key Responsibilities;Involvement in all projects: research/product development, product lifecycle including engineering changes.Ensuring early involvement of suppliers in projects.
