.Womens Specialist WorkerLocation: Haringey Recovery ServiceWorking Hours: 37 (Full-time)Contract Type: PermanentSalary: 28690 - 34730Make a real difference in your communityWe are looking for a compassionate knowledgeable and motivated Womens Specialist Support Coordinator to join the Haringey Recovery this crucial role you will provide high-quality person-centred support to women in recovery from alcohol and substance use.About the RoleYou will offer one-to-one support advocacy and safety planning delivered both within the recovery service and out in the community. You will also continue providing support to women accessing the recovery service as they progress in their recovery journey.This is a rewarding opportunity to empower women promote safety and resilience and make a meaningful difference in their recovery journey.What Youll DoProvide tailored trauma-informed support and advocacy to women prioritising safety empowerment and well-being.Conduct risk assessments and collaboratively develop personalised support plans.Work in partnership with multi-agency services including housing social care and legal support.Facilitate group sessions and workshops to build confidence knowledge and coping strategies.Maintain accurate records case notes and documentation in line with organisational policies.Raise awareness of best practices in supporting women affected by abuse trauma and complex needs.Deliver culturally sensitive and intersectional support.Provide ongoing community-based support to women engaging with the recovery service.To Succeed in This Role Youll Need:Experience supporting women facing domestic abuse homelessness trauma or other complex needs.Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and risk management.Excellent communication engagement and advocacy skills.The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multi-agency environments.A non-judgmental empathetic and empowering approach to working with vulnerable women.An understanding of trauma-informed and intersectional practices.High levels of professionalism discretion and commitment to confidentiality.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a dynamic and supportive recovery service.
