Our client is a world leading manufacturer based in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. They are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their well established team.The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:All aspects of mechanical design drawing, from concept outline to detailed production.Ensuring products comply with current legislative requirements such as C.E, HSE, etc.Specifying products and components for purchase.Providing sales, workshop, technical, and site technical support.Liaising with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.Maintaining engineering and contract execution standards.Supporting aftermarket sales, including item master and QAD data entry.Working closely with clients to ensure projects meet their expected returns.Skills required for this Mechanical Design Engineer role:Commitment, drive and enthusiasm with a business focused mindsetPrevious experience in mechanical design engineering and AutoCAD is essentialExperience with Autodesk Inventor design package, and knowledge of Industrial processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA valid UK driving license is essentialBenefits of this Mechanical Design Engineer Role:Permanent positionCompetitive holiday packageFriendly working environmentFree onsite parkingDetails for this Mechanical Design Engineer role:Hours of work: 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to FridayLocation: Stoke-on-TrentSalary: £30,000+ DOEIf you have the above requirements and experience, please call Steph on (phone number removed)Please ensure your CV is up to date with all relevant experience and your contact details are accurate.Please note that Pertemps will only contact applicants who have the relevant experience for the position.
