Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding primary school in Hounslow This is the perfect role for someone who wants to make a real impact on children’s education while gaining essential skills for a future career in teaching.

Position Overview:

  • Role: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
  • Degree Requirement: Minimum 2:1 in any subject
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term (starting ASAP)
  • Location: Primary School in Hounslow, West London
  • Salary: Earn up to £500 per week
  • Ideal for: Graduates looking for experience before applying for teacher training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with class teachers to support students' learning across all areas of the primary curriculum.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, ensuring they understand key concepts and stay engaged in lessons.
  • Help students who need additional support, as well as challenge high achievers to reach their full potential.
  • Assist with classroom management, lesson preparation, and school activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A recent graduate with a 2:1 or higher, who is passionate about working with children and eager to pursue a career in education.
  • Someone with excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • A positive, proactive attitude, ready to get involved in all aspects of school life.
