Our client is a renowned engineering consultancy known for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the data center sector. They're expanding their team and looking for both Senior and Principal Electrical Design Engineers who are passionate about driving excellence and efficiency in their designs.


The Role:

  • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to play a role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovativPrine electrical design solutions.
  • The Prinicipal Electrical Design Engineer will collaborate within your team and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.
  • The role will include helping to deliver designs, keeping an eye on fee and programme, checking designs and communication with the team and wider.
  • Variety of work (stage 3,4,5 design, data centre refurbs/modifications, surveying, fault finding).
  • The Principal Electrical Design Engineer would be assisting and helping to design and deliver designs, helping with drawing designs and helping set up meetings and workshops alongside a variety of other responsibilities.


Skills and Background:

  • The Principal Electrical Design Engineer should be interested in becoming a Chartered Engineer, educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng), you have gained significant experience in an electrical engineering role within the engineering field.
  • In your most recent position, you have consistently demonstrated your ability to work and contribute on small to medium scale projects and assist senior engineers to deliver to, and exceed, client expectations.
  • Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software, alongside software skills in Dialux, Relux, Amtech and Revit.
  • Data Centre experience desirable.
