An exciting opportunity has arisen within City Property (Glasgow) LLP for two Chartered Building Surveyors to work within our expanding Technical Team.


Hours: 35 hours

Salary: GRD04 Grade 7 £40,719.48 to £47,598.98 – subject to 2024 pay award

Contract: Permanent (Hybrid Working)

No. of Posts: Two

Entitlements: 26 days annual leave plus 12.5 public holidays, pension with Strathclyde

Pension Fund


The successful candidates will provide a range of professional services and project services to City Property Glasgow (Investments) LLP and Glasgow City Council as follows:

  • Provide key support in implementing the current capital plan for investment in City Property assets with the procurement of works for new-build projects and refurbishment of existing properties.
  • Provide key support in managing a portfolio of non-operational surplus land and property assets and support the City Property Valuation & Disposals Team along with a number of Service Departments within Glasgow City Council in identifying opportunities for de-risking, re-purposing or sale of these assets.


The ideal Candidates must be MRICS qualified and ideally have Building Surveying experience across a diverse portfolio.


City Property offer a generous holiday allowance of 26 days (rising to 29 days after 5 years), plus 12.5 public holidays.
