Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Architectural Technician to join a well-established business based in Evesham on a permanent basis.

The vacancy is office based and not remote/hybrid

Location: Evesham

Salary £40k - £50k depending on experience

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 09:00am - 5:30pm

The role of an Architectural Technician is to be responsible for supporting an architectural project from concept to completion. 50% of the role will be preparing and drawing, while the other 50% will be project management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collating and organising technical building information from architects
  • Manage the day to day running of projects, chairing meetings and taking minutes when necessary.
  • Conducting site visits
  • Offering technical advice for building developments
  • Prepare specifications for construction work
  • Prepare drawings and plans
  • Research design processes
  • Assist in managing team and client communications.
  • Contributing to meetings and document preparation

Candidate Specification

  • A Degree in Interior Architecture, or an equivalent field
  • Great technical construction and Building Regulations knowledge (especially within interiors and conversions rather than shell builds).
  • Must hold a UK Driving licence and have own vehicle
  • Must have excellent knowledge of CAD and Vector Works or AutoCAD
  • Experience within the leisure industry would be beneficial.
  • Musty be confident with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ideally have a portfolio which can display your creativity and design flair.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills
