Are you an experienced Mental Health Practitioner looking for an immediate contract opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated Band 6 CAMHS MHP to join a busy CAMHS team in Rochdale. This is a fantastic chance to work within the public sector on a full-time basis, providing vital mental health assessments and interventions for children and young people. About the Role: As a Band 6 CAMHS MHP, you will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health support to children and adolescents with moderate to severe needs. The role involves conducting comprehensive CAMHS assessments, including neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). Your expertise will help in shaping care plans and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Candidate Responsibilities Deliver high-quality CAMHS mental health assessments for children and young people. Plan and deliver therapeutic interventions, both individually and within the multidisciplinary team. Manage and prioritize your caseload effectively. Contribute to risk management and safeguarding strategies. Liaise with external professionals and agencies to coordinate care pathways. Participate in the CAMHS emergency duty rota, including occasional weekend work.
