Key responsibilities as Sustainability CPM Specialist for QIS
  • Serving as the expert with QIS for sustainability across all investment verticals and client channels, driving product development and strategy, as well as account customisation. Moreover, being the point of contact within QIS to drive connectivity and leverage of other ESG resources including the SIP and EO ESG teams.
  • Partnering with the PM teams to guide the research into ESG factors and solutions within the QIS group, and working with each vertical to integrate that seamlessly.
  • Globally w orking with CPM teams and our ESG CPM champions to drive a consistent and commercial messaging around s ustainability, whilst limiting the risks involved.
  • Contributing in the creation of though leadership publications.
  • Partner with internal sustainability teams to drive the QIS ESG agenda, ensure consistency and maximise the commercial impact across AWM.
  • Providing a governance structure for all ESG accounts within QIS - liaising across pm, esg regulatory, stewardship etc. to ensure we minimise reputational risk and offer best in class solutions from this sustainability lens in addition to the risk and return dimensions established by the individual PM teams.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree (Undergraduate/Masters/PhD) in quantitative discipline preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong programming skills (i.g. Python, Matlab or other languages)
  • Deep understanding of portfolio construction, preferably experience in portfolio optimisation with regard to ESG related portfolio level tilts
  • Curiosity about quantitative investments and sustainability
  • Ability to work independently in an accountable manner
  • Ability to develop strong judgement in terms of sustainability related risk management and develop a strong understanding of the regulatory sustainability landscape
  • Ability to grow into a client-facing role over time, becoming a thought leadership partner for clients around the technical aspects of ESG integration in systematic portfolios
