As our operational portfolio grows, we are seeking a Contracts Manager (Asset Management) to play a leading role in developing the contractual and supply chain framework. This position will be central to shaping commercial strategy, managing key supplier relationships, ensuring robust contract management and identifying efficiencies across our operational assets.Core Main AccountabilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial and contractual aspects of specific Operations and Maintenance (O&M) packages within Ocean Winds’ operational portfolio, ensuring effective supplier performance, risk management, and value optimisation. A thorough understanding of offshore wind O&M contracting is essential.More specifically:Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support Ocean Winds’ operational portfolio as it continues to expand.Assess the supply chain landscape to identify capability gaps, new entrants, and partnership opportunities identifying opportunities for local content.Work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to build local capacity and drive innovation, safety, and cost efficiency.Support the integration of supply chain development objectives into contract strategies, with a focus on sustainable, locally sourced solutions.Collaborate closely with asset management, operations, and technical teams to align contractual strategies with operational needs and asset performance goals.Contribute to the commercial evaluation of new operational models, including the O&M Agreements (OMAs) which govern Ocean Winds’ relationship with operational windfarms.Provide commercial insight into cost and risk analysis for O&M service provision.Lead supplier engagement activities, including performance reviews, improvement plans, and strategic relationship management.Lead post-award contract management activities across O&M service packages, ensuring delivery of contractual obligations, performance KPIs, and value optimisation.Administer and coordinate contract change management, claims handling, variations, and dispute resolution in collaboration with technical and legal teams.Drive consistency and best practice in contract management across operational assets, including performance tracking and supplier audits.Support the negotiation and management of SMAs, Balance of Plant (BoP) service contracts, and framework agreements with key O&M suppliers.Ensure compliance with internal governance, procurement policies, and external obligations Maintain robust reporting on contract performance, local content, and supply chain development initiatives.Support internal and external audits related to contract and supplier management.Required Academic and Professional ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial roles within offshore wind O&M or a comparable energy/industrial sector.Proven experience in managing complex service contracts, ideally including WTG Service & Maintenance Agreements and/or BoP O&M agreements.Required Knowledge and CompetenciesExcellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and various suppliers.Commercial acumen with ability to analyse cost, risk, and performance data to inform decision-making.Experience in developing supply chains or delivering supply chain growth initiatives within an operational environment including the development and execution of business cases.Knowledge of the following areas is desirableDeep understanding of offshore wind O&M supply chains, service delivery models, and risk allocation principles.Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.Strong understanding of contract law and commercial risk management.Strong track record in claims management, change control, and supplier performance management.LanguagesOcean Winds has an international team of employees and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written.
