You'll play a vital role in ensuring customer orders are transported and checked with precision, maintaining the highest standards in our warehouses.Shift Pattern:

  • 6:00am - 2.30pm
  • 2.45pm - 11.15pm

Principle Responsibilities

  • Distribution Assistant will load crates and containers for oversea' s deliveries;
  • Transportation of goods to Unit 1 for these to be ready for loading that evening
  • Quality Checks to make sure that the product is damage and defect free before loading
  • Rack Loading:Stock finished products in Unit 1 racks.
  • Ensuring that the order in full is ready and there are no missing parts
  • Item Search:Locate any reported missing items within the factories.
  • Picking & Packaging of trim to fulfil customer orders
  • Glazing of Internal Doors with Glass
  • Blue Foaming orders when required
  • Assisting customers collecting products with locating and loading orders
  • Distribution Assistants assists drivers with loading for 1st and 2nd runs
  • Transporting any materials to other units if and when required
  • Ensure blue packing is provided for protection as and when required
  • Order Organization: Distribution Assistants ensure orders are correctly placed and paperwork is updated.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent team worker with a hands-on approach.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to go beyond the job description and think creatively.
  • Reliability: Dependable and proactive with a flexible approach to work.
  • Initiative: Ability to take charge and meet responsibilities efficiently.
  • Ensuring all responsibilities are met in accordance with company procedures and the Staff Handbook.
  • Flexibility to work outside or in excess of standard hours when necessary to achieve required objectives.
  • Sound knowledge of the company's service offering specific to the role.
  • Forklift License: Advantageous but not essential.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in distribution role is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
