Our key differentiator is our 4000 staff and our resource pool that includes the most innovative fleet plant and equipment the market has to offer.We are the UKs largest end to end drainage solution provider with depots strategically located across the UK from Aberdeen to Plymouth to ensure round the clock coverage for customers and clients alike.About the role:Location: WashingtonHours: Monday to Friday 50 hours per weekSalary: Potential Earnings 40950 pa dependent on experience and inclusive of overtimeThe Job:We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in this role you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and safe operations of our field-based engineers. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and coordination of engineering activities performing site Health & Safety audits ensuring the team is properly equipped and maintaining a professional and safe working environment.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with drainage experience or a supervisory background who is looking to develop their career further. The role will involve both field and office-based tasks ensuring that operations run smoothly while also being part of the operational team when needed.Key Responsibilities:Assist with planning and coordinating the activities of the engineering team to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.Being the first point of contact for the operatives and supporting them with problem solving for any drainage related issues.Customer/Client interaction- providing timescales and being a contact to answer any questions or queries they may havePerform Health & Safety audits on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols.Ensure that the team has the necessary equipment information and resources to complete work efficiently and safely.Assisting in managing the companys vehicles and plant within the depot ensuring they are properly calibrated serviced and maintained.Maintain the fleet and equipment in a condition that reflects the companys professional image and commitment to Health & Safety.Oversee the efficient scheduling of work to maximise productivity and asset usage.About You:Previous experience in drainage or utilities is preferred but not essential.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of field-based engineers.A full UK driving licence is required.Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks effectively to optimise workflow and asset usage.Benefits:21 days holidayLife AssuranceAuto enrolment pension scheme;Free onsite parking;Friendly working environment;This position is open to Internal and External candidates.
