Mobile Phone Technician

Our client is a fast-growing electronics recycler, recycling hundreds of devices per week. Due to their recent growth and expansion into the second-hand mobile phones market, they are now recruiting for a Mobile Phone Technician to start immediately.

You will be joining a truly expanding and dynamic company, with great onsite facilities, a superb team-based culture, and huge opportunities to progress and advance your career. You will be supported in house training and development

Job Description

Handling Mobile phone testing software and cutting-edge robot, which involves evaluating mobile devices for functionality, performance, usability, and security. You will be expected to liaise with other technicians, be computer literate, and be adaptable to change within the role.

The Role.

  • Testing each device for functionality and cosmetic grading
  • Use Testing software to ensure each device is tested in accordance with guidelines
  • Entering all job details via CRM to maintain repair database
  • Arrange parcel collections on multiply partner systems fitting the customers and business needs.
  • Assemble postal packs to be sent to customers
  • Receive postal packs and update tracking systems
  • Be expected to take the initiative and rise to different challenges each day
  • Work in a fast paced, target focused environment constantly striving to ensure we are providing excellent customer service
  • Perform other basic administrative functions
  • Updating client accounts

The Person

  • PC Literate
  • Be able to work on own initiative
  • Good timekeeping and attendance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Awareness of data protection, GDPR, and how it relates to customers’ data.

  • A good standard of written and spoken communication skills
  • High attention to Detail
  • Punctuality, time management, and effective organisation skills
  • Computer Literacy
  • A can-do and pro-active attitude with the willingness to progress their career within a fast-growing company
  • Residency in or have the ability to attend the workplace in Rotherham, S60 2DH
