Microwave Engineers - UK-Wide - OUTSIDE IR35 - 2-Man Teams


FPG have multiple UK-wide long-term OUTISDE IR35 contract opportunities for Microwave Field Engineers who are Advanced Climbers who have experience in installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance/fault-finding activity on telecom BTS sites (3G/4G/5G) on Vendor equipment – NEC and Siea.

It provides a wide range of technology, services, and solutions to telecommunications operators globally, contributing significantly to worldwide communication services.

If you are selected, you will be asked to cover a region close to your home location to help you reduce travelling and mileage. If you are travelling across the country or staying away from home, then this might be an opportunity for you


Responsibilities

  • Work individually, as part of the field service team and wider organisational teams to achieve the right-first-time resolution of work within customer SLAs without compromising safe working practices.
  • Carry out the field-related installation, commissioning and integration activities associated with agreed project work.
  • Participate in a 24 x 7 callout rota covering all equipment in the Service Area
  • Keep diligent records and accurately update both internal teams and Customer systems where necessary.
