We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Graduate Fire Engineer to join our Building & Real Estate Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Graduate Fire Engineer to join our team, who possesses a recognised fire safety engineering qualification. You will be supporting our experts across a variety of projects both autonomously and as part of a wider team, therefore it is key you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a specialised area and begin your journey with SOCOTEC.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):Develop design and construction fire safety strategiesPrepare fire safety assessment for external wallsPrepare other technical engineering analysis such as CFD Modelling, Structural fire engineering, Radiation Assessments etc. Carry out site visits when requiredProvide fire safety adviceWrite fee proposal lettersLiaise with clients on a regular basisTo be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:A bachelor’s or master’s degree in either fire engineering or a related subject with relevant experience related to fire engineering Involvement with a professional body Positive attitude and excellent communication skillsWhat’s in it for you?We can offer you a wide range of benefits including 25 days holiday with the opportunity to buy more, an electric car scheme (where applicable), employee recognition schemes, family friendly support, employee benefits and discounts app, employee assistance programmes, and enhanced company pension.
