We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part Time Catering Assistant to join our team in Brentwood Essex United Kingdom. This position is for weekends (Saturday Sunday or both)during term time only making it an ideal opportunity for students or individuals looking for flexible work hours.Assist in food presentation for various events and functionsMaintain a clean and organized kitchen environment adhering to food safety standardsServe food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional mannerCollaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service deliverySet up and break down catering areas before and after serviceHandle customer inquiries and requests promptly and courteouslyAssist with inventory management and restocking supplies as neededOperate basic kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficientlyQualifications : Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitudeBasic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniquesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsFlexibility to work weekends during term timeTime management skills and ability to multitaskPrevious experience in catering or food service is preferredAdditional Information : This appointment is offered on the return of satisfactory professional references and DBS checks.We invest in the training and development of our teams to give them the appropriate skills necessary to thrive in their job roles.
