Technology Sourcing Manager

Were recruiting for aTechnology Sourcing Managerto join our Procurement function in London. 

Our Group Procurement team launched a 3 year transformation strategy in 2023 and secured investment in people and systems to deliver the vision of creating a Procurement Centre of Excellence for Legal and General. We are embedding category management and innovative sourcing strategies and partnering with stakeholders to become a strategic enabler for the business. Its an exciting time to join our team and be part of the transformation.

As a Technology Sourcing Manager you will be supporting the Category Lead to drive efficient sourcing activities in the technology division leading key strategic sourcing projects across the entire technology landscape. 

The team work flexibly and prioritise engagement and collaboration with colleagues to ensure great business partnering and best outcomes. A typical working week is two days in an office/supplier location and three days at home.

What youll be doing:

• Managing procurement activities across various categories including IT marketing property and workplace
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive strategic procurement initiatives
• Supporting the development and implementation of procurement strategies
• Engaging in supplier negotiations and contract management
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members
• Participating in the transformation and optimisation of supply spend
