Senior Motor Controls Technologist

SALARY – UP TO £80,000

Location – Stevenage

The Role:

We are excited to offer a remarkable opportunity for a Senior Motor Controls Technologist to enhance the technical excellence of our project deliveries. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for the Motor Controls team, coaching and mentoring team members to elevate their performance. Your responsibilities will include offering support and guidance on highly complex issues across all projects. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future strategy for the Motor Control aspects of design and delivery within Actuation Systems.


What we want from you:

Experience: Proven expertise in designing and developing control algorithms for digital control systems.

MATLAB/Simulink: Proficient in using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder to generate deployment-ready control algorithms, ideally with direct experience in controlling BLDC motors.

Modelling Skills: Capable of modelling complex real-world electronic and mechanical systems, including feedback sensors, motors, drivetrains, and drive electronics.

Requirements Generation: Skilled at deriving sub-system or component requirements from customer specifications to support system architecture development.
