Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading charity who are searching for an IDVA for a contract role in which you'll be working 4-days a week from home & 1-day a week from Aldgate, London. As an IDVA you will work within an MDT that provides first class care/support to victims of domestic violence. The service aim to engage with victims to offer support, address needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. Within your role you will be working with external agencies, case managers and fellow IDVA’s to review and develop safety plans. The manager is looking for compassionate candidates who are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults, if you’ve never worked within domestic violence roles but are keen to get into this area this may be perfect for you as the service are keen to hear from people who have worked within similar settings such as mental health, criminal justice, substance misuse etc. Key responsibilities: • The IDVA will manage high profile / intensive case work. • To ensure that SafeLives DASH Risk assessment, Individual Safety & Support Plan, Severity of Abuse Grid are in place and reviewed 6 weekly to support the client. • Domestic violence, legal advice, housing needs, tenancy support, support of children, access to learning or employment dependent on the individual’s aspirations and needs. • Ensure that identified support targets have b...
