Boyd Recruitment are currently looking for HGV Technicians to work full-time for our client based in Airdrie. This role is mostly servicing trailers so previous experience is a must. Responsibilities:To inspect, service and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures and mandatory EHS legislationTo ensure all compliance details are completed in an accurate and timely mannerTo undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the companyProvide high customer service levels whilst working to specified deadlinesMust always adhere to the company’s health & safety policies and proceduresQualifications/Requirements:Must be a “Time Served” technician or possess City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience and have a technical background/experience in trailer repairsWelding experience - preferableDouble deck maintenance experience – preferableHigh level of enthusiasm & good communication skillsBasic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentationGood organisational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlinesInitiative to work autonomously if required.Shift Details:Permanent full-time – 10 hour shift, Mon-Fri with 30 mins paid break per day and 1 hr per day unpaid lunch break.Salary: £40,000 - Basic Overtime is available weekends Saturday = x1.5 per hour Sunday = Double time Interested?
